AUSTIN, TEXAS---Following a successful world premier event last March 9th at Dallas' American Airlines Center, ART OF WAR Undisputed Arena Fighting Championships are now set to premier in Austin, Texas.

The stage is set for Mixed-Martial Arts fighting, America's fastest growing sport, on Friday, May 11 at the Austin (Texas) Convention Center when Sun Sports & Entertainment presents...ART OF WAR 2. Ten exciting fights are scheduled for the circle cage, starting at 7:30 p.m.

In Dallas, UFC veterans Pedro Rizzo and Justin Eilers battled for the newly formed IFA World Heavyweight Championship.

Once again, it will be highly regarded heavyweight contenders in the Main Event for the May 11th, ART OF WAR 2 in Austin. Wes "The Project" Sims (21-8-1...Lancaster, Ohio), a former UFC and IFL contender and one of the world's tallest fighters at 6'10", will be taking on MMA veteran Chris "The Gallatin" Guillen (33-7...St. George, Utah).

Also slated for featured action on the card is Austin MMA star and IFL contender, Freddie Espiricueta. Espiricueta will have his hands full with former UFC World title challenger, David "The Crow" Loiseau.

Other Austin fighters participating on the card include; Matt Thompson, Ryan Larson and Kamal Shalorus.

Pride and UFC veteran, Alex Andrade, of Dallas, will be battling Brandon McDowell in a special attraction bout.

Tickets for ART OF WAR 2 are priced at $250 (Cageside VIP Package), $100, $60, $40 & $25. Tickets are available on line at www.gettix.net, as well as all GetTix locations (including: Runtex locations, Waterloo Records, University Co-op in Austin and Sundance Records in San Marcus), beginning Saturday, April 14 at 10:00 a.m.

Sims, who has developed his own "Sims Fu" fighting style and is best known for a variety of modified choke holds, is looking to make a big statement in his battle against Guillen.

"I'm ready to put on a show for the fans in Austin and remind the world that I am truly one of the best heavyweights in the world," said the 27 year old Sims. "This is a very important fight in my efforts to get to the top of the heavyweight division."

Although only 6'0" tall, the 240 lb. Guillen won't be intimidated by the bigger Smith. "No problem with me," said Guillen of Sim's 10" height advantage. "Everyone knows my game is ground and pound and when an opponent is on the ground, we are all the same height."

The winner of the Sims vs Guillen fight will most certainly be in line for a world title shot at the recently crowned IFA champion, Rizzo, according to Sun Sports & Entertainment CEO, C.J. Comu. "Absolutely, we would be looking to have the winner fight Rizzo for the IFA title," confirmed Comu. "Our goal at Sun is to present the best fights and fighters in the world and a Championship fight between the winner of Sims and Guillen against Rizzo would certainly fit that bill."

In addition to the main event, Comu guarantees Austin fight fans an exciting night. "From top to bottom, we have an excellent card," he noted. "In addition to our main event, we have the best of the Austin MMA fighters, as well as several noted International fighters on the card. It should be a great night for all the great MMA fans in Austin."
