08.06.09 King Mo gets up in Carson's Pit! Author: Bob Carson
"King Mo" Lawal was a name already familiar to fans for foreign fistic feats featuring finishes in three of four fights, but his recent involvement in a high-profile expletive-laden faceoff with Quinton "Rampage" Jackson captured the attention of an even larger worldwide audience. Mo joins Carson to give his side of the story, including further explanation of his comments about the "minstrel show" he accused Rampage of performing for attention.

In addition to talking about his feud with Jackson, their mutual use of "the n-word" and the perception of black fighters as "athletic" rather than skilled, Mo gives Bob the inside story on his upcoming fight with hard-living MMA pioneer and gun-toting Arizona deputy Don Frye. Afterwards, the man they call "King" talks about his time as the top wrestler in the nation, his stint as the champion of the "Real Pro Wrestling" organization and the evolution of his combat sports skillset.

Once the interview is over, Bob Carson takes to the air in his dirigible of correctness to bring you the latest on events from around the world of MMA, including the Rich Franklin vs. Vitor Belfort fight, Tito Ortiz returning to the UFC (including what Mark Coleman needs to watch out for if their proposed fight happens), Andrei Arlovski's potentially deadly visit to Chicago Comic-Con and much more!
