With all the recent focus on ways that combat sports athletes, particularly mixed martial artists, have been attempting to improve their performance using substances that are not allowed by athletic commissions, we thought we would spend some time on natural, healthy, and legal things you can provide your body. Coach Bob Anderson’s knowledge on grappling sports and nutrition is encyclopedic. The coach has trained dozens of world class athletes, like Randy Couture and Dan Henderson. With one of this masters degrees being in nutrition, and more than fifty years of mat experience in freestyle and greco-roman wrestling, sambo, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and more I’m probably not aware of, we couldn’t find a better expert on the subject.
Make sure you have a pen and paper when listening to this one, because the Coach drops some serious knowledge on Dan and I during this show.
