If you've been following OntheMat for any length of time, you'll notice one of our favorite competitors is Tyrone "T-Money" Glover also known as the West Coast Phenom (we like to call him the Human Highlight Reel around the office, he appears numerous times on 101 Submissions). He has a stellar record in grappling competitions (being one of the most exciting competitors to watch for sure) and is undefeated in MMA.
Tyrone recently won the Pride Auditions, beating out hundreds of contestants and is now being groomed to make a big impact in their lightweight division. Tyrone actually recently fought the other Pride audition winner Jake Draves a few weeks ago and submitted him in about a minute thirty!
On Septermber 3rd Tyrone Glover will be facing UFC veteran Din Thomas (late of the American Top Team) at Deep 20th Impact in the greatest match you won't be able to view in the United States (they are in fact the only Americans on the card). But if you're lucky enough to be in Japan, you definitely want to check match out because it promises to be one of the most exciting of the year!
