    First of all we would like to CONGRATULATE Tim Credeur for receiving his black belt, along with Andrew Sall and Big John for receiving their purple belts this past weekend. These advancements were well deserved.

    Just another friendly reminder...all membership dues must be paid on our before Wednesday, August 17th in order not to incur a 10% late fee.

    Also, you don't want to miss the next UFC event. It is this SATURDAY AUGUST 20th, and The Mezzanine Lounge is the place to be.

    This is a 5 star RATED event held in Portland, Oregon and will feature both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling Divisions.

    Our crew is loading up in the TapouT Motorhome and Rockstar Fun Bus and will be heading up North to bring you the Best event possible!

    The final fightcard for EVT Phoenix - European Grand Prix 2005 is set. EVT Phoenix - European Grand Prix will consist of four 4-man tournaments with some of the best fighters from Europe in each weight category and will take place in Stockholm, Sweden the 8th of October.

    11th September at Strood Sports Center

    This seminar will be 4 hours long and covers Chute Boxe techniques, which combine striking and grappling to present you with a winning formula

    It will be held at the Strood Sports Center in Strood, Rochester, Kent and will start at 11am and finishes at 3pm

    Ninja is an excellent guy with outstanding techniques and his seminars are brilliant, educational and good fun

    This seminar is open to all but will have limited places available so it would be wise to book as early as possible

    Tickets prices are $20 ( General Admission Bleachers ) and $30 ( Floor Level Seating ).

    It will be an exciting night of fighting action when Rage in the Cage returns to Casa Grande for their tenth event there.

    Many local fighters will be showcased to the appreciate and supportive tri-valley fans.

    Today saw blue, brown and black belts. 14 Blacks belts wound up competing!

    In the brown belts Jeff Glover took the under 181 division submitting Jamie Walsh and defeating Chris Liscandrio. The the over division Brandon Vera defeated Asa Fuller in a close match in the first round and a member of the Texas Punishment Crew in the finals.

    IGJJF Day 1 Report

    The day began with well over 100 kids taking the mats. Although the rules were the more traditional 5 minute rules, the matches were action packed as the latest generation took to the mat in the spirit of competition and gave it their all.

    The action then continued from the white and purple belts as well as the women's divisions. The star of the day had to be Bill "the Grill" Cooper, who won both the under 181 purple belt division and the absolute division defeating the likes of Andrew "Judo Goat" Smith, Leo Santos, Sean Conley and Jarrod Kwitty.
