Greetings,
On behalf of the UC Merced Bobcats Martial Arts Team, Shorin-Ryu at UCM, and the UCM Recreation & Athletics Department, we would like to invite you to the "1st Annual GBC: Golden Bobcat Cup" to take place on Saturday March 19th 2011 at the University of California, Merced.
Open to all styles, we will feature traditional forms, open forms, weapon forms, team forms, family team forms, point sparring, tag team sparring, self-defense, and jiu-jitsu. We will also feature a first timers division for those who are new to competition.
Grand Champion Awards will give to the Brown & Black Belt Forms Jr. Grand Champion, Adult Black Belt Forms Grand Champion, and Adult Black Belt Sparring Grand Champion. Additionally, we will be offering Cash Awards in addition to the Grand Champion Cups.
More information regarding registration will be released soon. Please forward me your mailing address if you would like hard copies of the registration packets shipped to you.
