5th American Internation Quick Report

the 5th American Internation tournament put out by the Wold Grappling Games was a success yesterday as an estimated 250-300 competitors came out for one of the last big events for 2005. The venue was near perfect place to hold a grappling tournament as competitors were downstairs, spectators were upstairs in the balcony, and kids divisions ran all day long upstairs.


THe day begain with gi divisions. Some standout included the talented Chirs moriarty submitting his opponent i the brown belt division, and Mike Fowler winning a four man black belt division. There was a lot of good action in the no gi division as well, and the lvel diplayed in the lower divisions was especially high. In the Advanced divisions Chris Moriarty once again won his division. KAHLIL MORELAND won the 149 and below, and Steve Magdaleno won the under 159 poud division, defeating a tough Ryan Hall in the finals.
