Battle At The Bellagio

    Mon, 2005-04-11 08:55 — Valor Fighting

On the biggest MMA show in the United States
so far this year, it would be an honor to have
one fighter being represented on the show. Especially
considering that the show is a K-1 show, one of
the elite fighting companies in the world.

Valor fighting, since it`s inception has made large strides in the world of MMA. And in this short
period of time, Valor has definitely made it`s mark! Valor is represented at The Battle at Bellagio
IV by not one, not two, but THREE fighters!
Mighty Mou, the Battle at the Bellagio III defending champion returns to fend off new challenges.

Sean O`Haire will also be fighting, as he looks
to extend his winning streak in the MMA world. And rounding out the three Valor representatives, Mark Selbee, a 3 Time IKF Champion in his own right, will attempt to become the Battle at Bellagio IV champion.

Rick Bassman and Eddy Millis are the owners of Valor
fighting, and to say that they are proud of the job Team Valor has done would be an understatement. Bassman remarked, "When we started this
exciting venture, we knew that we wanted Valor to make an impression on the Mixed Martial Arts world. Little did we know, this soon, we would have 3 fighters on the biggest K-1 USA show of the year. Live on Pay-Per View at the Bellagio, this is tremendous, and really helps solidify Valor Fighting as the real deal."

Eddy Millis certainly not one to be outdone made these
remarks regarding the representation his Valor team is making April 30, 2005. "We would have been proud to have one fighter on this show, there are tons of other organizations that have nobody represented, and to have 3 is certainly an accomplishment, not only for Rick and myself, but for Valor Fighting, and most importantly, our fans. Without our fans, we would not be where we are. Their support has helped make us a successful organization, and for that, we will continue to put on quality live events for the people!"

When asked who they feel is the favorite, both are quick to
dodge the question, but there certainly are
reasons for this. "How can you pick just
one?" Bassman, went onto say, "Mighty Mou is the defending
champion, Sean O`Haire is looking unstoppable
thus far during his MMA run, and Mark Selbee
is a very dangerous fighter who brings a
great and respectful history with him. We are aware that
K-1 will have their share of talent at this
event, but we are confident Valor will stand
    strong at the end."

"A lot of people feel Mighty Mou will repeat as Battle at
the Bellagio champion" says Millis. "Look at
the K-1 USA website, they have a poll
running that shows Mou as a definite favorite. Mark Selbee is someone who might be a dark horse. His
name may not be on the tip of people`s tongues, but let me tell you, it will be! Selbee is really someone to look out for come April 30, 2005.

One cannot ook past Sean O`Haire, who takes
his natural athletic ability, and his raw power, and turns it into one devastating fighter, who has a record that many fighters would kill to

So be sure to be there at the Bellagio, April 30, 2005, or order it on Pay-Per-View. You do not want to
miss this huge event, Battle at the Bellagio IV. Also, be sure to look out for stories on O`Haire, Selbee and Mou in the coming weeks leading up to the big show.

K-1 is a martial arts fighting sport that derives its name from its inclusion of a wide array of combat
    disciplines, including Karate, Kung-Fu, and
Kickboxing ("K"), and its intent to determine one champion in one ring ("1"). After being staged for the
first time in Japan in 1993 under the direction of founder Master Kazuyoshi Ishii, it later evolved into the country`s most popular sport and achieved popular culture status there as its athletes turned into larger-than-life celebrities. For more information,
