Cage Warriors Return To Sheffield With A Huge 8 Man Tournament and Middleweight World Title Fight at CW Showdown 2.




Details of the 2nd Cage Warriors Showdown event have been released which contain an international 8 man Lightweight Tournament and a huge Middleweight World Title Bout on November 19th in Sheffield, England.




Warrior Promotions are proud to officially announce the provisional line-up for its November 19th “CW Showdown 2” event at the Octagon Centre, Sheffield. This Mixed Martial Arts show follows on from the last action packed Showdown event which saw UK star Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy defeat the veteran Danny Rushton via TKO in Welterweight competition, Alexandre”Xandinho” Izidro win his CWFC Lightweight World Title outright and saw the successful return of Ian “M-16” Butlin.




However the 2nd CW Showdown event aims to top the previous show with aninternational 8 man number 1 contender Lightweight tournament, which willsee fighters from the UK, France, USA, Japan and Scandinavia battle it outto claim a CWFC Lightweight Title shot next year against regaining championAlexandre “Xandinho” Izidro. Fighters participating in the tournamentinclude the likes of Ian “M16” Butlin, Peter Irving, Emmanuel Geay, TomonariKanomata, Jarkko Latomaki, Thomas Hytten and more.




But that’s not all as Warrior Promotions have secured a huge CWFCMiddleweight World Title bout between number 1 contender and Pride Bushido11 veteran Gregory Bouchelaghem (5-3-0) and the 2 Hot 2 Handle -93kg Road toJapan winner Jordan Radev (11-1-0). This bout will be an intriguing strikervs. grappler clash as the powerful Dutch based Bulgarian will look to stopthe slick submission skills of Bouchelaghem, who holds wins over UFC andPride veterans Mark Weir and Andrei Semenov and also UFC veteran Ross “TheGladiator” Pointon.




Both men will be fighting for the CWFC Middleweight Title which was recentlyvacated by the Danish striker Martin “Hitman” Kampmann who recently foughtin both the WFA and UFC and vacated the Title to concentrate on his UFCcareer.




Local talent will also be given a chance to shine as Yorkshire basedkickboxers Alex Mackenzie and Scott Sykes from SDF Sheffield will befighting in Cage Kickboxing action along with Cage Warriors Strike Force 5and 6 veteran Brett Healy. Also Taylor Total Fighting’s Andy Denny andRichard Taylor from Wakefield will be in MMA action, alongside other localtalent.
