Cagewarriors Strike Force 5

Paul Daley vs. David Bielkheden Confirmed For Cagewarriors Strike Force 5

Cagewarriors Strike Force 5 will see it’s 2nd Rough House vs. Sweden encounter as Paul “Semtex” Daley (8-4-2) makes his CW “Strike Force” debut when he takes on the European Shooto Light-Heavyweight (-83kg) Champion David Bielkheden (9-3-0) on March 25th at the Skydome Arena, Coventry.

This bout will take place in the Welterweight Division and will take place alongside the other 3 confirmed bouts on March 25th at the Skydome, Coventry.

Paul “Semtex” Daley is no stranger to UK MMA fans and has been entertaining audiences in MMA and Cage Kickboxing action since 2003. Daley is known for his left hook and KO power, but has also developed a good wrestling and ground game due to training in the USA with ATT and Eddie Bravo. Daley is coming off an injury loss to Jean Silva last Saturday and will be eager not to make it 2 losses in a row when he takes on the extremely powerful and dangerous Swede on March 25th

Bielkheden is a veteran of the AFC, Shooto Europe and Japan and holds wins over UFC veteran Charles Mccarthy, Ultimate Force UK Middleweight Champion Josenildo “Luquinha” Ramarho and has taken Ryuta Sakurai and Shikou Yamashita the distance in Japan. In his previous Cagewarriors Strike Force appearance Bielkheden impressed the Coventry fans with a brutal ground and pound display to defeat Ramarho inside a round.

Both fighters are well matched and already Paul Daley has stated that he feels that Bielkheden is “is the best Europe has to offer” and is more dangerous than Jean Silva. So fans at the Skydome should be treated to a red hot encounter in the icy confines of the Skydome Arena.

CWFC Welterweight Title (5×5 minute rounds)

vs.

Diego Gonzales 5-2-0-1nc (Hilti NHB Team Sweden)

This is a re-match of the now infamous clash at CW Strike Force 3 in which Diego Gonzales beat Dan Hardy by submission before having the result declared a no-contest on appeal due to repeated fouls by the Swede. They will now clash again in March and both men will look to settle the score in what is an eagerly awaited contest.

Light-Heavyweight

Martin Wojcik 1-0-0 (Wolfslair Academy, UK)

vs.

Gulyas Zsolt 3-2-0 (Carlson Gracie Hungary)

Wojcik makes his 2nd CW:SF appearance after stopping Christian Smith in a dominant display at the “Night of Champions” in November. He’ll be hoping his time at the Wolfslair as well as his Judo background and experience in the amateur Shooto circuit will be enough to carry him to victory again in Coventry. However his opponent is a stocky, aggressive, heavy hitting Hungarian who is coming off 3 huge KO wins. A veteran of the Total Fight Hungary series, Zsolt is promising an exciting showdown when he faces his Swedish opponent in 6 weeks time.
