Brazilians don’t ned much of an excuse to party. Carlinhos Gracie told us maybe it was just keep the people’s minds off of how poor they really are. In any case the mayor shelled out $10,000 Reals (Brazilian Dollars) as prize money for the fights. That is a lot of cash considering Jiu-Jitsu doesn’t have the best reputation in Brazil right now. Well, we were really impressed with who was fighting and the event was awesome.
