Shamrock Martial Arts Academy Open House


June 29, 2007; San Jose, CA…. Frank Shamrock’s elite martial arts academy, the Shamrock Martial Arts Academy, in San Jose, California, will hold an open house in honor of Frank Shamrock’s victory against Phil Baroni on July 21, 2007. Frank Shamrock became the first Strikeforce middleweight (185 lb. limit) champion in history by submitting Phil “The New York Bad Ass” Baroni with a rear naked choke four minutes into the second round of their EliteXC-Strikeforce main event showdown that was nothing short of an all-out slugfest.


View the new Strikeforce middleweight Championship belt as well as Frank Shamrock’s UFC belts and other trophies. Tour the famed fighting facility, home of the IFL Razorclaws and Frank “The Legend” Shamrock. The Shamrock Submission Fight Team will be on hand to perform spectacular MMA demos. Meet the man who brought MMA to San Jose and shake hands with the Legend himself, as Frank Shamrock will be signing autographs at the event.

Shamrock Submission Fight Team Holds Tryouts


June 29, 2007; San Jose, CA…. Frank Shamrock’s premier fight team, the Shamrock Submission Fight Team, will hold a try out/casting call on July 26, 2007. The legendary fighter will hold the intense try out at his elite martial arts academy, the Shamrock Martial Arts Academy, in San Jose, California. All sizes and weight classes are welcome to attend the try out/casting call with the potential to train with Frank Shamrock at his academy as well as opportunities with the IFL, Showtime, Strikeforce, MMAE, various reality TV shows and other media.


The tryouts will be held less than a month after Frank Shamrock defeated Pride veteran Phil Baroni on Showtime Pay-Per-View. Frank Shamrock will be on the lookout for new talent to join his team, as well as star in an upcoming reality TV series. Most needed for the Shamrock Submission Fight Team are 150 lb fighters.


The grueling tryout will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2007 from 12pm – 5pm at the Shamrock Martial Arts Academy. More information is available at www.frankshamrock.com.

CASTING CALL: SHAMROCK’S SCHOOL OF HARD KNOCKS


July 6, 2007; San Jose, CA…. Frank Shamrock’s premier fight team, the Shamrock Submission Fight Team, will hold a try out/casting call on July 22, 2007. A month after defeating Phil Baroni on Showtime Pay-Per-View, Frank Shamrock will be casting new talent for an upcoming reality TV show. The legendary fighter will hold the casting call at his elite martial arts academy, the Shamrock Martial Arts Academy, in San Jose, California. Initial taping for the show will take place on July 26 and 27, 2007.


If you are a 150 lb. male with a checkered past and an interest in MMA fighting, please bring a recent photo and a one-page bio to the casting call. Please email tim@outsidetheboxent.com for an application.
