On October 6, Relson Gracie presents the Gracie Proving Grounds at the Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, Hawaii. Relson’s only son Rhalan Gracie will be fighting Koa Ramos in the main event. Many of Hawaii’s top fighters are being given the opportunity to prove themselves against fighters representing Relson Gracie. Knock out artist Kaleo Kwan is going up against hard hitting Duke Saragosa. Always tough Kimo Wolfel is fighting Brazilian black belt Daniel Nova. “Sugar” Shane Nelson fighting out of Hilo for Nova Uniao and BJ Penn’s academy will test his ground skills against Brazilian blackbelt Israel Gomes. Relson Gracie is giving the local fighters a great opportunity in this event. The fighters that do well and are impressive will be invited to fight in the Gracie Fighting Championships (GFC) – live on Pay Per View. Many of Hawaii’s top MMA schools are being represented such as 808 Fight Factory, HMC, Eastsidaz, Jus Rush, Team Quest, Team Big Dog, Team MMAD, Relson Gracie, Nova Uniao/Team Penn, O2 Martial Arts, and Jesus is Lord.
