HB Ultimate

The OTM HB crew checked out the HB Ultimate Training center located on 19240 Beach Blvd. Huntington Beach CA, 92648.

The first thing you notice about the gym is the faclility!  This place is HUGE!

·         They have a full size boxing ring,

·         Full weight room with machines and free weights,

·         Full Cage

·         1000+ square feet of mat space

·         Racks of punching bags

·         Treadmills and other cardio equipment

·         Men and Women restroom and locker rooms

·         Everything is color coordinated and looks very professional. 

They offer a large variety of classes taught by real fighters:

·         MMA Class

·         Cardio Kickboxing

·         Muay Thai Sparring

·         Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

·         Submission Wrestling

·         Personal Training and Fitness

We met up with our favorite, “Razor” Rob McCullough, as we pulled up into the parking lot.  He gave us a quick tour and some background on the roots of the gym and what makes it different.  After that, master Junior Perez met up with us and the Jiu Jitsu class was about to begin.  After drooling over the facility since we arrived, we were eager to throw our gi’s on and join the class to start training with the class when he invited on the mat.   The class was great, added a couple of sneaky guard passes to my arsenal and got to roll with some high level guys all in one day!  After the class Junior gave us some time talking about where he started jiu jitsu and the history of the gym.
