James Head Victorious over UFC Veteran Gerald “Hurricane” Harris

Lovato Jiu Jitsu Purple Belt and Muay Thai/Boxing instructor James Head was victorious this past Friday (February 25th, 2011) in his Mixed Martial Arts fight against former TUF cast member and UFC Veteran Gerald "Hurricane" Harris.  The battle went all three rounds and James came out on top with a Unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27) over the "Hurricane".  James was able to use his striking to dictate the pace on the feet and his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to control the fight on the ground, while landing elbows.  Congratulations James!  Your Lovato Jiu Jitsu team mates are very proud of all the hard work you put into the fight!
