Lyoto Machida proved, once again, that elevated the MMA as one of the favorite sports of Pará. Former UFC champion, who paraded in fire truck when he won the belt, was again received with celebrations in Belém.
After defeating Randy Couture with a stunning knockout in UFC 129, on last Saturday, Machida was greeted by his family and dozens of fans at the airport in the capital of Pará.
With the win, the Karate fighter broke a string of two straight defeats and return to fight for a rematch for the belt of the light-heavyweight category.
