Not-so-coincidentally, Luis attended the International Fight League’s event that took place in the Chicago suburbs which included a showdown between the Southern California Condors against the San Jose Razorclaws and the Quad City Silverbacks against the Chicago Red Bears. Luis and I dissect the event evening from top to bottom, with special scrutiny of the event’s superfight between Marco Ruas and Maurice Smith.
As always on The FightWorks Podcast, we discuss Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and focus on a tournament in San Diego that took place yesterday, the First Annual Fabio Santos Open (disclosure: I train under Fabio Santos). We’ll hear from Fabio himself about the tournament and its future here in Southern California.
