Clemente instructs at Studio X in New York City alongside Marcelo Garcia. His titles include being the winner of the 1995, 1996 and 2006 Pan-American heavyweight, superheavy and open weight championship titles. Clemente received his black belt all the way back in 1996, so he has tons of experience to share with us.
We’ll also include an episode of The Black Belt Corner on this week’s show. This time around we sit down with Marc Laimon, the head instructor at the Las Vegas-based BJJ powerhouse Kobra Kai. Laimon, who is not a person of many words but is known for not holding back his opinions, also helps train MMA fighters for competition, including Joe Stevenson, Kendall Grove, and Heath Herring.
