Well, American football has the NFL preview from Chris Berman and his gang… college basketball has Dick Vitale and crew, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu has The FightWorks Podcast! We brought in jiu-jitsu’s big gun of BJJ analysis, Gumby from OnTheMat.com to help break down the competitors of the 2007 BJJ world championships. We’ll discuss the details of all black belt divisions, male and female.
What do MMA fans look like? Eighteen to thirty-five year old males, if you ask the marketing survey folks. In this episode of The FightWorks Podcast we’ll also have a quick interview with someone who breaks the stereotypes of what you think is your average mixed martial arts fan.
FYI, we will delay our normal release schedule and be posting our next episode on August 27th, instead of on Sunday as we normally would. We can’t deliver a show to the 600,000 out there (that’s you) with only one day of the action from the black belt division, so we’re going to hold off and with any luck have the show out on Monday for you.
