OntheMat.com proudly presents the FightWorks Podcast! The top BJJ, Submission Grappling and MMA Podcast on the Net!

www.thefightworkspodcast.comThis coming Saturday the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation will take a firm step forward in its development by holding its first World Championship of No-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Carson, California. While submission grappling tournaments have been around for some time, this event caters to true Brazilian jiu-jitsu practiced without the gi and is going to probably be a bit unlike what you may be used to in regards to a submission grappling competitions.

We decided it would be good to speak with the IBJJF directly about what competitors that day can expect and what the event means for BJJ as a whole. The Event Staff Coordinator of the IBJJF, Mike Buckels, joins us and gives us a sneak peak of what to expect. Tune in, as there are likely some aspects to the event that are not what you are used to.

We will also give the results of the Super Challenge held in Sao Paulo yesterday, and review our effort to determine the Best BJJ Blog of the Year for 2007. Remember it’s up to you to vote for the best BJJ blog of 2007!
