Ralph & Flavia Gracie's 4 year old son Rygan Gracie was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2011.
In the United States 274,930 people are living with, or are in remission from, leukemia. Leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer amoung children and young adults under the age of 20. But there is good news, the five year relative survival rate for patients with leukemia has nearly quadrupled in the last 50 years! Todays survival rate is 85%. The Gracie's want to help get that rate to 100% by raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
