"I'm training again, soon I will be 100%," he said, "I don’t want to wait anymore, I'm excited to fight."

The American Top Team fighter recovers in Atlanta, where he trains and teaches, and hopes to return in the second half of the year.

"I will probably fight again in July," he said, "I'm just waiting to sign the contract with an event that wants to hire me. Signing the contract, I'll do what I always do, I will go to ATT to make a camp for six weeks. Doing this, I will be prepared to do my best”

Adapted to life in the U.S., “Jucão” warns that will continue to fight in welterweight division, and also expects to reveal new talents for the sport.

"I feel well fighting until 170 Lb and I will keep in that weight. My academy is very nice here in Atlanta, I have about 10 athletes in MMA, there are many people training Jiu-Jitsu. You could note, that t soon we will be fighting in major events around the world, "he concluded.
