Robert Drysdale wins his professional MMA debut fight

    Las Vegas based Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach, ADCC champion, and burgeoning MMA fighter Robert Drysdale defeated Bastien Huveneers in his professional MMA debut in the co-main event for Armageddon Fighting Championship (AFC) 3 - Evolution on Saturday, July 17th, 2010.

    After 2 years of full-time MMA training in Las Vegas, Nevada, Drysdale won his professional MMA debut bout by submitting Huveneers via Arm-Triangle Choke at 1:12 of Round 1. Huveneers is an experienced Canadian MMA veteran, who possessed an impressive record of 8-2-1 leading into the fight. The bout took place at the Bear Mountain Arena in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

    Drysdale is one of the most accomplished grapplers in the world and has over 90 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu titles to his credit. He also operates his own martial arts school in Las Vegas, where classes are offered to students of all ages and skill levels in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, and Mixed Martial Arts.
