Saulo Ribeiro is one of our favorite Jiu-Jitsu guys.Saulo Ribeiro is one of our favorite Jiu-Jitsu guys. He is a five time world champion, he is only missing the absolute gold in his collection. We had a chance to catch up with Saulo at the Pro Ams in North Carolina and then later at the Relson Gracie / Arnold tournament in Ohio.
This video interview has some great footage including Saulo’s first two matches at the Pro Am. One against WEF owner Jamie Lavine where he catches him with a sick reverse omplata. Ther are also hight lights from his match in Ohio agains Conan and some Mundail highlights.
Saulo tends to fight bigger guys and has very good stand up as you will see.
