    - Rooms start @ about $480. Workshop fee: $180; UMAC members: $115; (Cruise with workshop, about $660 for non-members; $610 for UMAC Members)
I am working on a possible discounted airfare and ground transportation package and a hotel+airfare+ground+meal deal.
[Discounted rooms may be available for as little as $316.12 - 4 to a room early bird special- $50 deposit now and be the first to complete an application!]

    - Optional prepaid gratuities can be added with final payment at a cost of $ 40 per person. If these are not paid in advance, they will automatically be added to the shipboard account as soon as you board the vessel.

    - Optional travel protection insurance is also available, based on age and cruise cost, but averages $ 39 to $ 63 each and should generally be purchased within 2 weeks of deposit to cover pre-existing conditions. (STRONGLY RECOMMENDED)

    - To GUARANTEE a room on board the Carnival Sensation, a $50 DEPOSIT is required NOW. Final payment is due in December.

    - A flyer application will be mailed to you and our mailing list. Space may be limited.

    We need your help:
    1. We need workshop Trainers. I have four instructors to date who have expressed an interest. UMAC's mission is to improve the quality and effectiveness of ANY martial arts school*, we would like to involve as many as possible. There is room for SEVEN workshops, SEVEN Instructors. If you or someone you can recommend is available we would like to hear from you or them. Let me know your preference and time needs via a reply to this e-mail. Workshop fees will be used by UMAC to provide additional workshops, services, and to pay honorarium to workshop trainers and coordinators.
    2. If you are the President or coordinator of an AMAR affiliated association, we need your mailing list. UMAC's mailing list is old. This will cut down on our expense as we would not have to buy a list of Karate Schools and do a mass mailing. A more focused mailing, both e-mail and snail-mail, would help make this a successful event.
    3. Please join UMAC ($50; $35 for "family-affiliated" membership), and/or volunteer to serve on the Board. I can send you the application via e-mail. If you are interested in serving on the Board, please call me at the number below.

To GUARANTEE a room on board the Carnival Sensation, a $50 DEPOSIT is required.

Remember, a two-day workshop, requiring 4-nights in a hotel would be about $320 for a room, $200 for meals, $100 commuting costs (parking, taxi, car rental, gas, and/or tolls, etc.), PLUS workshop fees of about $150. The total would be in excess of $770. We're well within the ball park of a cost-effective, fun, educational, and entertaining event!

    Thank you,

    Dr. Michael
