USOpen XV Santa Cruz Ca. Local boy keeps the pace...

    October 16th marked 2nd day of the US Open XV; held in Santa Cruz California.  Local boy Jeremy Montes Jr from the Claudio Franca BJJ Academy showed up with 3 other team-mates to represent the Juvenile Division Team Competition.  The Claudio Franca Juvenile Team took the 2nd place trophy with 3 Gold Medals and 1 Bronze. 
    Jeremy Montes Jr. has been having a good year with medals in every IBJJF tournament that he has competed in.  Adding another Gold medal to his 2010 season; Jeremy finished his US OPEN XV final match with a super-tight choke that gave no other choice than immediate submssion once he set it in.
