It’s not everyday that you get to go to a seminar with 3 World Champions not to mention see them get promoted.

Recently, I had a chance to sit down with Amanda Buckner, former Ring of Fire Lightweight champion, the former Smack Girl Open weight Champion, Abu Dhabi competitor and considered by many to be one of the top female fighters at 135 lbs. Recently she traveled half way around the world to fight on the Ring of Fire card only to go home unscaved.

I had a chance to sit down with Andy Grahn of Minnesota Martial Arts Academy, home of Sean Sherk and Brock Lesnar, to discuss the past tournament that he and Greg Nelson hosted, called the Greater Midwest Submission Hunt.

Recently, I headed down to Richmond, VA to check out Mission Submission 2. I had a chance to go to their first tournament and it was a blast so I decided to do it again! The second time around did not disappoint. It looked like the number of competitors were slightly down this time, but I think this was due to them having a MMA show after the tournament on the previous show.

I asked Sim a “simple” question: “What is one thing that makes a great competitor?”

I did a quick Q&A session with Sven Bean the promoter of Ring of Fire; he has the top show in the Midwest in my opinion and also a lot of great fighters on his show.

Be a part of the first ever Tiger Academy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championships. All Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitors are encouraged to compete. We are hoping for a huge turnout of competitors.
