    • Get ready Jiu-Jitsu fans. Paul Guzman-Sanchez produce of the Submit Fighter TV show in southern California will be covering this historic event this year. This means the United States` first ever Brown & Black Belt challenge will be televised!

    • Spectators, 25% of your entrance fee, and the minimum $1.00 donation you make to the U.S. Open History Museum will benefit the Bay School, a non-profit facility that educates children who have autism.

    The U.S. Open X is revving up to go on October 22nd and 23rd, 2005 at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium.

    Here are some of the highlights of the tournament:

    • The first ever open weight Brown & Black Belt Team Challenge in the U.S.!
    • 1st, 2nd, and two 3rd place medals for each division!
    • An ever-growing Juniors (ages 16 – 17) division for white and blue belts!
    • Free Women`s Jiu-Jitsu seminar for female competitors ($50 for non-competitors)

    U.S. Open X: FEATURED EVENTS

    To celebrate the TENTH annual U.S. Open, Claudio França & team are putting together some special events.

    The tournament will be held October 22 & 23 at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium in Santa Cruz, CA. There will be no increase in the registration fee--we're bringing you the same service, for the same price, year after year. The fee for early registration, i.e., received by Midnight Wednesday October 12th, is $50.00. The fee for late registration (received Oct. 13th – 17th Midnight) will be $65.00.
