It's that time again! On Saturday, March 11, 2006, Pancrase USA presents the fifth
annual North American Submission Wrestling Championships. Held in conjunction with
the Old Timers collegiate style wrestling tourney, the combined event has grown to
become the region's premier grappling competition. Last year, more than 250

The Armed Forces Pankration Invitational is open to all Military Servicemen, Active
and Reserve. The tournament is scheduled to start 12:00 noon on Sunday March 19th at
Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California. Weigh ins will be conducted on March
18th 4 to 7:00P.M. and March 19th at 7:30 A.M.

Pankration competition permits body strikes, take downs and submissions. All matched
are conducted on a wrestling mat with two referees.

There will be Novice and Open divisions, each with 7 weigh classes:
Flyweight ? 144.9 and under
Bantamweight - 145 ? 155.9

120 competitors in 21 divisions participated in the 4th Annual California Pankration Championships

The PANKRATION BATTLE OF CHAMPIONS TOURNAMENT was held Saturday May 23 at Imperial Beach, California. 59 competitors participated in the event.

IF YOU MISSED THE LAST ONE OR ARE CRAZY ENOUGH (like the 29 Palms Marines) TO GO AGAIN.

The WARRIOR CHALLENGE PANKRATION CHAMPIONSHIPS will be held THIS SATURDAY, MAY 28, at the San Onofre Community Center Gym inside MARINE CORPS BASE Camp Pendleton. We now have authorization to open the event to ALL CIVILIANS as well as Military personnel.

May 28th - The Warriors Challenge II will be held at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. This event will include Youth and Teen Divisions ( open to all styles and schools )and a All Miltary Pankration Tournament, open to Active, Reserve and IRR. Each division will be separated by weight. .*** We will add a pure beginner Military division if enough enter***

The next So Cal Pankration Amateur Tournament will be held May 21st at Imperial Beach, San Diego. This event is promoted be Victor Beltran of the Boxing Zone. Amateur competitors from all styles and schools are welcome to compete.

There will be divisions for Adults, Teens ( 14 to 17 yrs) and Kids. Each division will be separated by weight. Weight Brackets will be determined the day of the event so there is no need to cut weight.

The future of Mixed Martial Arts meet on November 17th and put on a show to remember.
