More Mundials News: Absolute Finale set between Roger Gracie and Xande Ribeiro!

Roger submitted all four opponents (including Marcelo Garcia in the semi-finals) and Xande submitted three of four en route to their finale Sunday morning. The biggest upset has to be Roberto "Cyborg" Abreu who submitted Braulio Estima then beat Demian Maia before falling victim to Xande.

In the Brown Belt Absolute, Chris Moriarty takes third place, duplicating his feat from last week at the Copa do Mundo. Mike Weaver and Elliot Marshall won two matches each. Paul Schriener and Bill Cooper each lost their opening matches.

Kron Gracie wins the purple belt medio (middle) division, submitting all of his opponents. Afterwards he is awarded his brown belt while still on the mat.
