Scotty Nelson, co-founder of OTM gts his well deserved black belt from none other than the Pipe Layer himself, Jeff Glover.
Scotty has been training for over 17 years now, so this has been a long time in the making. In addition to forming OTM back in 1997, Scotty has also been a dedicated mat rat since the start. Scotty has travelled around the world both learning and spreading the art he loves. He’s worked hard, trained hard, and partied hard with all of us all over the globe. He’s also been a savage competitor at times as well. DEspite the Playboy facade, Scotty is one of the most generous people I have met, one of the early sponsors of this sport and often quick with both encouragement and knowledge to everyone he’s encountered.
Cade Nelson, Scotty’s brother and long time OTM contributer also received his gi brown belt from Jeff Glover. Cade also has a Black Belt from Eddie Bravo in the 10th Planet System.
Scotty’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt goes nicely with his black belt of the night!
