King of Combat Sports returns to Broomfield, Colorado on March 10th

In little more than two weeks, submission fighters from around the globe will once again descend on Colorado to test themselves at Americas' premier combat grappling competition. Now in it's seventh year, the Pancrase USA sanctioned event continues to grow having previously hosted competitors from all fifty states and ten countries. This year's event promises to be even bigger and better.

King of Combat Sports returns to Broomfield, Colorado on March 10th

Denver/Broomfield, Colorado, Jan. 15, 2007 – It's that time again. In less than two months many of the world’s best combat grapplers and submission fighters will descend on Broomfield, Colorado to test their skills at the sixth annual Pancrase of the Americas Submission Wrestling Championships.

Undefeated UFC middleweight contender Nate Marquardt held a grand opening today for his new dojo in Aurora, Colorado. The gym is two and a half times bigger with more than 3 times the mat space of the previous location. There is a bigger ring on the way, more heavy bags, double end bags, soon to be showers, and a awesome judo-style tatame mat built on a spring board. Without a doubt the nicest dojo in Denver, says Pancrase coach Billy Hendricks.

Fox News of Denver recently visited the Stars - Pancrase USA Training Center for a story about "cage fighting". Anchorman Jeremy Hubbard conducted several interviews including sessions with head trainer Billy Hendricks, Ring of Fire promoter Sven Bean, Commissioner Will Hendricks and Pancrase legal counsel Craig Johnson. Fox also filmed several segments from a live mixed martial arts training session.

The piece is scheduled to air Sunday, November 27th, 2005, at 9:00 PM (MST), on Denver Fox News KDVR channel 31.
