To date, November 20th was the largest testing group with 21 students being tested! Everyone worked very hard of the past 2 months leading up to the test! As part of this test, I promoted 4 new blue belt. It was a long and arduous test, everyone passed with flying colors, and everyone had a briliant performance! I couldn't be prouder of this test group. We were also joined with my long time friend and training partner, Ruffhouse Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Jay Inciong and his family Jinky, Isabelle, and Jacob. Just a quick update. We originally had Bashir Saber and Gustavo Romero scheduled to fight at RITC 147 in Tucson, AZ on December 3rd. Unfortunately they had to be pulled from the card due to injury. Bashir to a knee injury and Gustavo to a rib injury. It’s an unfortunate circumstance but it’s all part of the game. It seems that we are all done for the year with MMA events. Now it’s time to take the next few months to hone our skills and sharpen all the tools in the shed and to hit ground running when 2011 comes around! We’ll keep up the good work!
