    The Lion-Dog Gi is made from a new micro blend pearl weave cotton 550 Gram Top with Bull Denim Pants. These Gi's are 100% preshrunk cotton with embriodery and woven tag logos manufactured at on of the best facilities in the world with not only incredible looks but the best quality money can buy. This also comes with a travel Gi bag for those on the go.

    Five Grappling's Nevada 1 Open for Registration

    Five Grappling is on the second tournament in as many months. They move on from California to Nevada as they make their way around the US. The first tournament provided some great competitors, but whoever wins here will face those winners and the rest at the end of the year. Five Grappling is making this more than one tournament experience, so if you can make it to Nevada head out there. But stay tuned as a tournament may be coming to a city near you.

The brand new Kaiser Permanente Arena is located in beautiful down town Santa Cruz just five minutes from the beach and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk!

     In are continuous series on cross training for BJJ practitioners we will be looking at the power of swimming. At first, you may think that swimming has nothing to do with BJJ, but it has a lot of benefits for people that like to compete. At the least it helps you build muscle in every part of your body, and not just any muscle, lean muscle. The type of muscle that does not stop you movement or make it harder, but the type of muscle that keeps you strong, lean, and quick. There are also a few more benefits to trying a swimming regimen.

     Ralph Gracie black belt and beloved BJJ personality Kurt Osiander is having a tournament in Illinois on August 24th. The Seminar will take place at Yobe Jiu Jitsu(248 E Roosevelt Road) in Lombard, IL. This is a Gi seminar only, and will cost $100 if you sign up before August first, but will rise ten dollars after the first.  If you are a fan of BJJ you have most likely seen his training videos online, but now you have a chance to see it happen live. contact to register before slots fill up.
