    Three Things to Consider Before Competing

    Everyone that trains in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has the want to compete in it whether they express it or not. A lot of people that want to compete freak themselves out more than anything else can, but what you have to remember is that everyone else is just as freaked out as you, at least at the lower levels. While you can do as much training, conditioning, and outside training as you want to prepare there are some things that will help you compete even if you do not think about them. So, take a look at three things you need to work on and consider before hopping on the mat to compete.

    As my first week here at the GFTeam Training Camp begins drawing to a close I look back on the intensive training I've been put through and I can't believe how much improvement I have made in such a short time span.

     Hey everybody!
     
    This Saturday is the Abu Dhabi Pro Trials in San Diego and It looks like my division is shaping up to be the toughest and most exciting of the entire event!!
     
    I'm competing in the 163 and below Brown and Black Belt division among some of the best competitors in the world including Kron Gracie, Zak Maxwell, Mike Fowler, Marcos Torregrosa and Ryan Beauregard. Also in the division are some of my rivals in Tim Peterson, Ryan Sosa, Beneil Dariush and Tanner Rice, any of which I would love to have a rematch against.
