This Saturday, October 30, is the last day to sign up for the No-Gi Worlds, to take place November 7 in Long Beach, California's classic Walter Pyramid.

A constellation of stars is already confirmed for the event, but you, whether an adult or juvenile or hold a white, blue, purple, brown, or black belt, can get in the running for a title, too. Elia and Ben were sparring after class at 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu San Francisco and Denny decided the winner would get his purple belt. I missed the first 2 minutes of the match as I tried to find my camera. Denny ended up promoting both and as per usual talks about the students, their training and their path from their previous belt to the the belt being awarded. Congratulations to both of our newest, and well deserved, purple belts.
