Hey everybody!
The Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championships 2012 was an exciting event for everyone involved but for me it was an emotional roller coaster that ended up leaving me disappointed and full of motivation.
Yesterday was the last day of Caio Terra's training camp for lightweight athletes and it was a killer camp that I am really glad to have been able to participate in.
LOS ANGELES, California — At the beginning of February, Lucky Gi announced its IBJJF Pans 2012 sponsorship Facebook (www.facebook.com/LuckyGi) contest, which involved winning Lucky Gis, T-Shirts, Steak Knives, Free Shipping, and Sponsorships for the 2012 Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championship, which takes place from March 29th through April 1st in Irvine, California, USA.
I had the pleasure this past weekend of traveling down to Los Angeles to watch the Pan Kids tournament at Cal State Dominguez Hills. The level of Jiu-Jitsu displayed by these children always amazes me. I didn't even start Jiu-Jitsu until I was ten years old and some of these kids are younger than that and have games that make them look like little purple belts. Our team did really well earning the top spot in the mighty might division and taking home the third place trophy for the Pee Wees.
Great job to all of our competitors at the Houston Open last weekend. We came in 3rd place for most points earned by a team! You'll soon see our team trophy at the gym. Congrats to: Jaime Lazcano-gold, Hugo Munoz-double gold, Jonathan Naranjo-silver, Zip-gold, Stephanie Cantu-gold, Napolean-Silver, Charles Jackson-bronze, Gianluca-gold, & Eric Lazo-bronze.
