MMA HEAVYWEIGHT SUPERSTAR JOSH BARNETT SIGNS WITH STRIKEFORCE
NEW YORK (Sept. 13, 2010) – Two-time champion and top world-ranked heavyweight superstar Josh “The Babyfaced Assassin” Barnett has signed a multi-fight agreement to compete for world championship Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) promotion STRIKEFORCE.
Since before the time that Bodhidarma began to train the monks at the Shaolin Temple, man has looked to his spiritual beliefs for strength in battle.
Hundreds of years ago, every temple in China, Thailand , and Japan provided a training hall, insuring the preservation of their particular religion or philosophy.
This weekend kicks off the first of The California Amateur Mixed Martial Arts Organization (CAMO) events. CAMO is holding statewide single elimination tournaments to crown state champions in 8 weight divisions (135lb, 145lb, 155lb, 170lb, 185lb, 205lb, 230lb, and Heavyweight.)
We have a lot of stuff planned for a really fun day to celebrate one year of Brood 9 Martial Arts. We have sign up special, Raffle/Door Prizes, Food, Music & Dancing as well as a schedule of demos and classes that you can take part in all for free. We will be have all aspects of the school there so Abrigo Martial Arts will be joining in as well as Wing Chun.
