    6th Arizona International Open JPJJ/Ruffhouse Jiu-Jitsu Team Results!

     Another successful weekend of competition in the books for the Ruffhouse Jiu-Jitsu Competition Team! As a team, Ruffhouse closed out the 2010 year as one of the top Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Teams in Arizona (Per the Arizona State Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation) and we started the year off with a commanding success by placing 4th out of approximately 74 teams! This is a strong and promising start for the year! As we grow, as a team, as athletes and as practitioners, we will show the world who we are as we climb to the top as one of Arizona’s best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Teams!

    Phoenix Combat Academy finds itself yet again in Sin City for Tuff-N-Uff at the Orleans! After winning the 135 lb women’s Tuff-N-Uff title, Tsui-Jen “Soo Bee Doo” Cunanan finds her self back in the ring against Emily Peters Keagen. After their first meeting which resulted in a very controversial loss, Keagen hurt herself in the fight with Tsui-Jen thus forcing her to pull out of the tournament giving Tsui-Jen a shot at the title. After that fateful evening, opinions, comments, and words ran amok throughout the internet.

     The Valentines day weekend played host to some of the best Amateur and Professional MMA and Muay Thai Fights. Following Phoenix Combat Academy’s (PCA) Tsui-Jen “Soo Boo Doo” Cunanan’s quick and impressive victory in Tuff-N-Uff, PCA Muay Thai’s Josh Pickthall and Pixi O’Reilly topped off the weekend with outstanding performances in Lionfight Promotions “Battle in the Desert”!

    GD JIU-JITSU Events in association with the Arizona State Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (AZSBJJF) is proud to announce the 6th AZ International Open of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The competition will take place on February 26-27, 2011 at Westwood High School located at 945 W. 8th St. in Mesa, AZ 85201.

    This is one of the best member contests we’ve had here at Phoenix Combat Academy and Jay Pages Jiu-Jitsu! This member contest will be for 6 months of FREE TRAINING! Thats a lot of money you could be saving if you win! So here’s how it works! Each quarter (January – March, April – June, July – September, and October to December), all members will work towards gaining referrals.
