Anyone got a cure for tendonitis?

    Thu, 2010-03-18 14:25 — Scotty

Man my arms are killing me. I can hardly choke and i cant defend an armlock for shit. Been taking tons of fish oils and did some acupuncture. But nothing seems to help.  Dr says stop training for 4 months. But i just got back on the mat!  porra

    No cure for being human

I take Glucosamine all the time and it's cool, but you are hooked on it once you take it. I stretch a lot and it seems to help me keep moving. Tendons aren't as strong as muscles and as everyone knows they tend to rip easily when you stress it. I have aches and pains all over. Not just my ankles.
    Man, my back hurts now....

Try stretching alot and of course rest. We all know that we do not rest because that means no training. NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

    STEM. It's electro magnetic

STEM. It's electro magnetic stimulation. Many chrioprators use this to stimulate nerves and relieve the effects of tendonitis. It's helped me a great deal. Research it and see if it's a viable option for you.

    My daily routine includes 4

My daily routine includes 4 pills:  a multi vitamin, Fish Oil/Omega 3, Gluclosamine, and MSM.  A lot of people swear by the glucosamine for joints.  I know when I went off my routine my joints hurt to the point I considered giving up Jiu Jitsu!.  Back on and I was fine in a few days
