Looking for Cultural terms and words for Fighting or Grappling...

    Hi All,  I have always been a big fan of cultural and language differences as well as the things we all have in common.  So I am looking for terms and words from other cultures and languages that mean or describe Fighting and Grappling.
     
    Please list the word/term, the language and territory it's from and the meaning.
     
    Some Examples:
    Mano a mano - Spanish - Hand to hand.
    Scrap - English/US - East coast/Boston - to Fight
    Tatakai - Japanese - Fight
    Lutar - Portuguese - Fight
     
    I would love to compile a huge list and I think this is the place to do it.

    Zuffa

    "Zuffa" means to "fight" or to "scrap" in Italian.
     
    This is the obvious reason why the Fertitta brothers named their company Zuffa, which is the parent company that owns the UFC and WEC.

    I am from the southern part of the US and I recall a few slang terms:
    Wailing: means to fight.
    Scuffling: means to fight
    Bitched up: means did not want to fight

    Fight

    Kibun, "wailing" means to express sorrow audibly, such as making a sound suggestive of a mournful cry.
     
    "Whaling" means to strike or hit vigorously, as well as to defeat soundly. 
     
    - Example: "Lesnar gave Mir a serious dude whaling at UFC 100!"
