Off Duty Officer involved in Shooting

    Tue, 2006-09-05 20:44 — KibunInc

In San Diego over the weekend an off duty Officer was following a reckless vehicle. When the vehicle stopped the driver reved his engine as the Officer exited his vehicle. The Officer fearing for his safety shot into the vehicle two times. The driver of the vehicle exited and was shot once more. The driver ended up being a San Diego Charger pro football player. The info that I have is limited to what the news said ( Yeah so only half of it is true), but tell me what do you think of an Officer getting involved in off duty incidents.

Should the Officer be just a good witness? What crimes justify involvemente when off duty?

    Give me your imput
