WANDERLEI SILVA +140
MIRKO FILIPOVIC -170
ANTONIO R. NOGUEIRA -190
JOSH BARNETT +160
Gotta go with my boy and fellow otaku Josh Barnett to take the whole thing. U-S-A! U-S-A!
RICARDO ARONA -330
ALISTAIR OVEREEM +260
I think the odds are lopsided here because they are remembering the Alistair who lost to Werdum, not the one who stuffed Belfort. Arona has had two losses in a row to Shogun and Vanderlai (by KO) and Overeem is bigger than either. i say Overeem is a good bet, especially at these odds.
MAURICIO RUA -825
CYRILLE DIABATE +525
Speaking of Shogun i think Cyrille is about to become a victim to the returning Rua. Cyrille has finished his last four in DEEP, so he deserves to be here, but Shogun is a hell of an introduction to Pride.
KAZUHIRO NAKAMURA -310
YOSHIHIRO NAKAO +240
Nakao's big claim to fame is getting knocked out by Heath Herring before the fight actually began. He's listed at 5-0 but his methods of winning are suspect. Nakamura is the real deal and only loses to quality opponents. Nakamura by submission.
YOSUKE NISHIJIMA -125
EVANGELISTA SANTOS -105
Sometimes Cyborg wins, and sometimes he loses. Like me when I gamble. Nishkima has never won, but when your first and only two opponents are Mark Hunt and Hidehiko Yoshida, that's bound to happen. I think Nishkima is due.
RICARDO MORAIS -130
LEE TAE HYUN -EVEN
The Mutant is back! He's been gone a long while. He's very big, and when people distinguish you primarily by THAT characteristic you know this could be trouble. Lee Tae-Hyun is a Korean sumo making his MMA debut. Go ahead and toss a coin on this one, it won't matter but it should be fun to see the two of them sloshing around in the ring.
