Just introducing myself:
I'm an LEO in the Pac NW working patrol and SWAT. I do a lot of use of force instruction for my agency and team. Been grappling for about ten years formally and informally, and have been ranked brown belt (ikkyu) in judo and just got my blue in BJJ with Chris Woolford's New Breed club. Did some traditional jujutsu and CMA too.
I have posted as "KIT" and "Tactical Grappler" on some other forums, but decided a name change was in order.
Cool forum, glad to see a defensive tactics sub-forum here!

Hey glad to have you here with us. If you have some stories of use of force situations or want to swap techniques post them here. I look froward to speaking with different Officers and picking up new techniques. I teach arrest and control classes. I trained in different styles over the years but I mainly did Thai-boxing for 18 years and freestyle JJ for 9 years. I am still learning everyday.
