    which custom mouth guard company made that for you. it would be cool if you could go to the shop and take the impression and then they could do the rest. send it for you etc etc. they could work out a quantitiy discount with the actual manufactorer. the only problem is these mouth piece guys are so damn flakey.

    They can be a flakey group. I ordered mine through my dentist so I got mine in two weeks. I like they way it fits but they are more expensive to order this way.

    thanks to kibuninc for the info ah flakey and mention of a time table. so they are somewhat unreliable? then dentist sounds like the way to go.

    yes the dentist is more than double. usually 300. the custom guys can be 65 to 85 to 115. and they are better in design. like more impact absorbtion in the moler area to combat concussion. or a hard outer shell on the rubber. but if you are not serious and just grappling the dentist one is fine. flakey as in you pay them then you cannot get ahold of them. you pay them and it takes over a month to get your product. general flakeyness.

    THe one I got from my dentist has a sub frame on it. I told him it was for fighting so it was speacially made for that. The ones from dentist are usually around $300 and the flakey guys are about $150 (here in Cali). My dentist did this one for me for $103 since I just spent $2500 at his office.

    The mouth piece is built in two layers. This helps the mouthpiece last and also absorb an impact.

    definitly two layer is way to go. one way dentist and customs guys guards are differentiated, but Kibun got hooked up.

    agreed. kibuninc has a good dentist. so, layered with subframe is the way to go.

    will look into this. so kibuninc, who is your dentist? isn't there a phone number "dentists r us" or something? or "flakey r us"?
