Saturday night's EliteXC - Uprising event on Showtime, took place in tropical Honolulu, Hawaii, and was loaded with some serious talent and packed with nonstop MMA action. It was chalk full of MMA stars like Jake Shields, Nick Diaz, Renato "Charuto" Verissimo, Mike Aina, Joey Villasenor, Riki Fukuda, Murilo "Ninja" Rua, and Robbie Lawler, as well as female fighting sensations Gina Carano and Tonya Evinger. The friendly Team B.J. Penn vs. Team Cesar Gracie rivalry was out in full-effect, as well as the not-so friendly rivalry between Icon Sport and Rumble World Entertainment.
