Motto which we train by

    Does anyone here have a motto which they train by. I always tell my students/training partners that we win because we are better then our opponents not because our opponents are worse then we are.

    In Police work I always tell my trainees that we go home alive because we do not let suspects kill us, some Officers go home alive because suspects choose not to kill them.

    Just wondering if anyone else has any sayings which they live or train by.
