    Bevois is correct and there may be a misunderstanding. I am from Louisiana and I have a ranch in Mississippi but I live in Los Angeles. I travel to the south about every 3 weeks. That is why I wondering where Starkville is at as if I were to get a chance I would like to stop by and do some training whn I am in the area. Also I WILL bring an OTM shop to the south but it is still a little ways out as I am not yet ready to move there full time.

    Mississippi is very green with alot of woods. Still very countryish and slow paced so I love it. No mountains like in Montana and it is Humid. I love the woods and I go down there to escape from the problems of LA. I have a 1,000 sq. ft barn which is almost completely converted a to MMA gym for when I am in town.

    Yeah I hear the same thing but I am married and I am bringing my wife. She supports my fighting and does more to promote me then I do. I will have to watch all of the other guys using there hunting techniques. I am trying to talk Scotty into going as I know he will have fun. I just picked up some OTM gear which I will be wearing into the cage.

    Also I have the only custom made OTM mouthpiece which I wear when I fight.

    Kibun, seems like your town is like 4 hrs away from me! However, you are 2 1/2 hrs away from my bjj academy in Jackson (Gracie South) so if you ever want to train gi/no gi bjj or want to do some kickboxing then you should def head over there. In Starkville, I teach a class and otherwise do straight judo but I head back to Jackson for my formal bjj training.

    As a FYI, Starkville (home of MSU) is about 1 1/2 hrs away from Tupelo, and give or take 2 hrs from Tuscaloosa, Ala.

    Cool, I would like to stop by when I am down there. I do only no gi training and I did MT for 18 years. I love the stand up but as I get older I love the ground game more as it reminds me of playing chess. When I am in town I will drop you a line from this website if it is ok.

    coolio. Actually my school does like 60% no gi and 40% gi, and people ALWAYS want to roll without it so if you visit you will be in good company. The website (shameless plug) is www.graciesouth.com Just go there for the time/schedules and if I know you are coming I will try to get over there (I make it there on saturdays now due to school and stuff). We have a sea of blues, a couple of TOUGH purples, and our brown belt instructor is damn close to getting his bb. Tough, techical, fun as hell group to be around!
