hello,
well, the title speaks for itself. any thoughts?
guess this would have to be a toss up. depends on how current status is regarded.
tarzanyamada. he is a solid driver and has a whacky personality! he is now a judge for formula d, so he may not be considered "driver" at this point.
if that is the case, then gotta go with rhysmillen. the smoke bomb. this guys is awesome. it will be interesting to see how he works his new ride!
thanks

Sorry but I do not know any of those guys listed. I just came back from my Police driving school (Have to go every 2 years for an update course) and I watched a video of 6 CHP cars drifting around several turns at about 100 MPH. The funny thing is that on about the 5th turn one officer loses it and does a 360 and continues on. The Officer behinds him does not know that the guy lost control of the vehicle and thinks he is just showing off so he spins his car into a 360 and takes off straigt again to show that he can do that also. :D. It was a great video to see 6 cars all drifting together kinda like the Blue Angels flying in formation.
hello,
hooooyaaaaaah!! those chp guys are awesome!! too bad they are precluded from competing!
still, nothing compares with 100+ mph sideways!!! loud though.
rhysmillen is a famous driver. rally, tour, drift, drag, stunt. he does it all.
he was recently injured attempting to be the first to complete a "backflip" in a pickup. he almost succeeded. he intends to try again.
don't know if he is fearless or crazy. or reeeeeaaaaally crazy.
he is fun to watch though. his family races too. an uncle, father and brother also race.
would be fun to see all of them flying down the road, chp flying down the road behind them...... good times......
thanks
A back flip in a truck is crazy. I will try to get the video of the Chippies driving.
hello,
well, it is a little crazy. as stated, he was injured. didn't quite pull it off.
that video would be sweet.
did you ever see a tv program that pitted chp against stunt drivers? it was awesome. will try to find it and post it here for you.
thanks
I have not seen the video but I would guess that the stunt drivers won that competition. I would enjoy watching the video.
hello,
still trying to find that video. actually, the chp did really well, especially in the "combat driving segment". the entire thing was really amazing.
they pitted the two teams (6 vehicles each) and the idea was to take the other team out, using whatever tactics they chose.
the stunt drivers seemed to favor a more individual approach ( like everyone cover thier guy) while the chp obviously choose team tactics. both did very well. it was highly informative (euphamism for: it rocked!).
thanks
there was a car club here norcal that was drifting on highway 9 and hit a scooter head on. the scooter driver was air lifted to valley medical. i heard he is not expected to recover.
i think drifting is cool to watch; but it really needs to be done in a controlled environment.
As always this stuff needs to be done in a controlled enviroment. Alot of people get hurt when they do this stuff on the streets where there is alcohol and crowds standing in the roadway.
