The UFC returns to the capital city of the United Kingdom with UFC 95 - Sanchez vs. Stevenson on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at The O2 Arena in London, England. The main event will feature a lightweight bout between winners from the first two seasons of The Ultimate Fighter.

TUF 1 champion Diego Sanchez will be making his lightweight debut against TUF 2 champion Joe Stevenson. Sanchez was a former top welterweight fighter after winning the middleweight division of TUF 1, while Stevenson fought for the lightweight crown a year ago after winning the welterweight division of TUF 2. This fight will help establish who could be in line for a lightweight title shot later this year, as both fighters are evenly matched with powerful ground games and dangerous stand up.

Also on the main card are a pair of top tier middleweight tilts featuring Nathan Marquardt vs. Wilson Gouveia and Demian Maia vs. Chael Sonnen. The winners of these two bouts could put themselves in line for a middleweight title shot later this year. Two welterweight matches round out the main card. Former IFL star Rory Markham takes on British favorite Dan Hardy, while TUF 1 standout Josh Koscheck battles UFC newcomer Paulo Thiago. UFC 95 will be televised for free on Spike starting at 6 p.m. EST/ 9 p.m. PST.
